Bringing her straight back after the wedding. Possible?

“I want to come over to the Philippines and marry her, then I want to bring her straight back with me.”

I imagine I’ve written something on this topic before, but it needs to be covered again. I would say that Down Under Visa would get a couple of these requests every week. And I wish I could just say “Sure! We can do that!”, but I can’t say it because it’s not possible. In a fairer world? Yes. But that’s not the way the system works.

Most people have never dealt with a Registered Migration Agent before, therefore most have no idea how we do things. Why would you? There aren’t even exciting TV shows about RMA’s.

Problems with Partner Visa applications inside Australia

At Down Under Visa we do most of our Australian Partner Visa applications here in Manila, and we would lodge far more Subclass 300 Prospective Marriage Visas (commonly known as the Fiancée Visa) than partner visas. Most people prefer the convenience of knowing they can organise the wedding at their leisure over a 9 month period than trying to rush it through before a tourist visa runs out.
